The following questions were raised;

What is the origin of CSC?

Regarding 6.2 could you provide additional information on improvement partners?

Merthyr requires a lot of support – does the CSC have sufficient capacity to provide sufficient support?

Regarding the importance of collaborating with communities. There are barriers to working with communities. What is the CSC doing to support this?

What mechanism is in place to check the quality of the work of the improvement partners?

6.18 regarding leadership development – What was the participation of the leadership programme in Merthyr vs neighbouring authorities?

If the prospective Head doesn’t pass the assessment, can they retake it?

Is there a link between poverty and attainment?
