Councillor P Williams referred to the Draft (V1) Policy and advised that on page 10 under ‘Selection’ the last line of the second paragraph should read ‘when ‘ and not ‘who’.

(a)  The revised Statement of Licensing Principles be approved and adopted by the Council to come into force on the 31 January 2016

(b)  The previous decision resolved on the 13 December 2006, the 9 December 2009 and the 5 December 2012 for a ‘no casino’ resolution within the County Borough be reaffirmed and ratified.

Resolved that:

(a)  A Listed Building Repairs Notice be served on the owners of the Miners Hall, Merthyr Tydfil

(b)  Authorisation be granted to (i) acquire Miners Hall, Tramroad Terrace, Merthyr Tydfil by any appropriate means, including through negotiation or through Statutory Compulsory Purchase and (ii) negotiate a ‘back-to-back’ sale of the Miners Hall, Merthyr Tydfil to a partner to secure the full repair of this Listed Building.
