(a) The determination to continue the level of 0% discount effective from 1 April 2022 for all Class C Long Term Unoccupied Properties as defined in Section 12 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 as amended be approved (See Appendix B) (b) The determination to apply no premium in the 2022/23 financial year in respect of Long Term Unoccupied Properties and Unoccupied and Furnished Dwellings be approved (This position to be reviewed in 2022 in relation to financial year 2023/24). |

Councillor M Colbran advised that this may be his last Council Meeting as Mayor and thanked all Members for their conduct through the period of on line Meetings.
The Mayor also stated that he had been advised that the following Members were not seeking re-election and he thanked Councillors S Jago, T Skinner, J Amos, C Barry, T Rogers and H R Jones for their service and contribution to the County Borough over the years.
The Leader Councillor L Mytton on behalf of the Council then thanked Councillor M Colbran for his year as Mayor and the way he had conducted Council Meetings as Chair of the Council.
British Lightweight Fight Title
The Mayor advised that Gavin Gwynne of Treharris would soon be Boxing for the British Lightweight Title and wished Gavin on behalf of the County Borough best wishes for the fight. |
