Members are reminded of their personal responsibility to declare any personal and prejudicial interest in respect of matters contained in this agenda in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government and Finance Act 1992 relating to Council Tax, the Local Government Act 2000, the Council’s Constitution and the Members Code of Conduct

The Mayor advised that there was no other business deemed urgent.

The Mayor advised that throughout February it is LGBT+ History Month which is an annual celebration and remembrance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history. 

This year’s theme is ‘Behind the Lens’ which celebrates LGBT+ peoples’ contribution to cinema and film from behind the lens. Directors, cinematographers, screen writers, producers, animators, costume designers, special effects, make-up artists, lighting directors, musicians, choreographers and beyond.

The Mayor also advised that LGBT+ Progressive Pride Flag had been raised outside the Civic Centre.

In order for the following to be considered in private, it is suggested that the public be excluded from the Meeting on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined under Part 4 of Schedule 12A of Section 100 (A) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972.

Resolved that:

To consider report of the Chief Executive

Councillor A Barry led the Council through the ‘Budget Proposals – Public Consultation and Additional Demands’ report and moved the recommendations as detailed in Paragraphs 2.1 and 2.2 in the report.

Questions were then raised on the report and were responded to in detail by Councillor A Barry and the Officers.

Resolved that:

The recommendations as detailed in Paragraphs 2.1 and 2.2 of the report be approved.
