Councillor L Mytton referred the Committee to the ‘Childcare Provision at the Cwm Golau Integrated Children’s Centre (ICC)’ report and proposed an amendment to the recommendation as outlined in Paragraph 2.1 of the report.

 

Resolved subject to the foregoing that:

 

Option 3 be agreed and a further report be brought back to Cabinet in relation to the extended hours for Child Care and Holiday Care

 

Cylch Meithrin Pentrebach and Little Rascals Pre-School be allowed to extend their term time and non-term time service for 3-4 year olds to allow children to access provision for a full day (8.30 – 4.00) in line with the Childcare offer

 

Cylch Meithrin Pentrebach be allowed to admit children under seven into holiday and afterschool provision provided they are older siblings of existing 3-4 year olds

Councillor L Mytton referred the Committee to the ‘Individual School Budget (ISB) Funding Reductions 2019-2020’ report and proposed an amendment to the recommendations as outlined in Paragraphs 2.1, and 2.2 of the report and deletion of Paragraph 2.3 of the report.

 

Resolved subject to the foregoing that:

 

(a)  The proposal to remove the Addressing Underachievement line in the schools formula funding from April 2019 be approved

(b)  The proposal to increase school meals prices by 20p in both Primary and Secondary School from April 2019 be approved
