Councillor A Barry referred the Committee to the ‘Council Priorities and Budget Consultation 2020/21’ report and proposed the recommendation as contained within the report.

 

A Member then referred to Paragraph 4.10 and the Committee were advised that there was a typographical error in the table as Adult Social Care had been included twice.

 

Resolved subject to the foregoing that:

 

The results of the Council Priorities, Budget Consultation and Council Tax exercise be received and considered.

(a)  A Council Tax increase of 4.99% for 2020/21 be recommended to Council for approval

(b)  A Budget Requirement of £127.533 million for 2020/21 be recommended to Council for approval

(c)  The Medium Term Financial Plan 2020/21 to 2023/24 be recommended to Council for approval
