Revenue Budget Monitoring 2023-24 - Quarter 2 PDF 446 KB To consider report of the Chief Executive Additional documents: Minutes:
Councillor A Barry led the Members through the ‘Revenue Budget Monitoring 2023-24 – Quarter 2’ report.
Arising on the report a Member referred to extra costs for School Transport due to road works and recommended that a letter be sent to Welsh Government requesting extra funding to cover these costs.
The Chief Executive advised that he was in dialogue with Welsh Government and that extra funding for this was being pursued.
Resolved that:
(a) The Revenue Budget Monitoring report for the 2023/24 financial year based on 2nd Quarter projections be accepted (b) Budget Virements outlined in Appendix 2 be approved (c) Managers to urgently address projected budget deficits within their respective service areas, identifying all possible remedial measures to offset projected deficits be approved |
