Application

Change of use from Council Depot to transport depot.  Erection of new industrial unit, office building and canopy to existing building with associated hardstanding and engineering works

David Cross led the Committee in detail through the report.

Questions were then raised by the Committee on the application in relation to:

·         Buses using the Depot

·         School drop off times

·         Impact on the local school

·         The objections raised in the objection letter

·         How is it recorded that conditions are met

·         Timings in conditions 2, 3, 6 and 7

·         Storage of fuel

Detailed responses were then given by the Officers to the questions raised.

The Head of Planning also advised that as of 1 October 2015 Conditions discharged were formally recorded.

Resolved that:

In accordance with the recommendation of the Head of Planning the Planning Application be approved subject to the conditions as outlined in the report.

Application

Residential development comprising a mix of 6 flats and 17 houses.

Huw Roberts led the Committee in detail through the report.

Questions were then raised by the Committee on the application in relation to:

·         Difficulty of the site to develop

·         The number of conditions being recommended

·         Enforcement staff numbers

·         Local Development Plan

Detailed responses were then given by the Officers on the questions raised.
