Residential development of 153 units

 

The Planning Officer introduced the item and led the committee through the power point presentation in relation to the application.

 

The following questions were raised by the committee and were responded to by the Planning officer.

 

·         What is the likelihood of flooding in this area in the near future

 

·         What off road parking is available and has it been calculated on a pro rata basis for the larger properties

 

·         Has the local primary school got the capacity to accommodate all the new children who will be moving into the area

 

·         Will the development benefit from a section 106 agreement

 

·         Has the impact on local services such as doctors and dentists been taken into consideration

 

After consideration by the committee it was RESOLVED that:

 

In accordance with the recommendation of the Head of Planning and Countryside, the application be approved subject to the conditions as outlined in the report.
