The Planning Officer introduced the item and led the Committee through the report and presentation.

The following questions were raised by the Committee and were responded to by the Planning Officer:

·         Clarification on a Special Landscape Area.

·         Reason for refusal (2)  -  clarification on the timescale of the applicant failing to provide sufficient ecological information to fully consider the potential impacts of the development.

·         Questions were raised in relation to a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

·         Reason for refusal (3)  -  clarification whether the existing highway (Cloth Hall Lane and Lon Maes Du) serving the site is the only access.

RESOLVED that:

A Fact Finding Visit be convened and that the appropriate officers from Highways and Bio-Diversity be invited to attend.
