To consider report of the Deputy Chief Executive Minutes: Proposed residential development of 39 houses with parking and new access road
The Planning officer led the committee through the presentation and highlighted the salient points within the report.
Resolved that:
A Fact Finding Visit be convened and that the appropriate officers from the Planning, Highways and Countryside Planning department be invited to attend.
Councillor C Jones made a request for all members of the Planning Committee to receive a copy of the site investigation report and the ecological assessment with the agenda for the next Planning, Regulatory and Licensing committee where this item would be heard again after the members have attended the Fact Finding Visit. |

P/19/0076 - Trecatti Landfill Site, Fochriw Road, Pant-Y-Waun, Merthyr Tydfil To consider report of the Deputy Chief Executive Minutes: Installation and operation of a containerised picking station with ancillary stockpiles of unprocessed and processed waste
The Planning Officer introduced the item and led the committee through the report and presentation.
The following questions were raised by the committee and responded to by the Planning Officers:
· Can you confirm that the operatives who will be handling the hazardous material will be fully trained and who will be their employer
After consideration by the committee, it was Resolved that:
In accordance with the recommendation of the Head of Town Planning and Countryside, the application be approved subject to the conditions outlined in the report.
