Minutes:

Construction of 31 residential units (Reserved Matters)

 

The Planning Officer led the committee through the report with the aid of a power point presentation.

 

The following questions were raised by the committee and responded to in detail by the Planning Officers in attendance.

 

·         Can the Planning Officer confirm that the public open space at the centre of the site mentioned in the outline application (P/18/0392) has been sacrificed to incorporate additional accommodation

 

·         Did the Landscaping Officer have any regard for the Open Space Strategy in relation to this application

 

·         Clarification was sought in relation to the existing access and path that leads from the Industrial Estate onto the proposed site

 

·         Clarification was sought in relation to the road layout at the far end of the site and whether there would be a turning circle

 

·         Clarification was sought on whether the flats were one or two bedrooms properties

 

·         How many of the flats will be one bedroom

 

·         Will the Planning Department be carrying out follow up actions to ensure that all the landscaping is carried out to an acceptable standard

 

After consideration by the Committee, it was Resolved that:

 

In accordance with the recommendation of the Head of Town Planning and Countryside, the reserved matters details be approved subject to the conditions outlined in the report.
