The procedure for dealing with allegations made against Councillors and referral to the Standards Committee was discussed.  Questions were raised about details of how the procedure would work and were answered by the Monitoring Officer

 

RESOLVED that

 

The procedure for dealing with allegations made against Councillors and referral to the Standards Committee was adopted.

 

 

The Questionnaire for completion by Members – arrangement for the Standards Committee Hearing was discussed.  Queries were raised in regard to the Questionnaire and were answered by the Monitoring Officer.

 

RESOLVED that

 

The questionnaire for completion by Members be adopted.

 

 

A letter was sent to all Standards Members in regard to the ~Witnesses being invited to attend the hearing.  The Committee studied this list and it was

The witnesses stated within the letter be invited to the hearing.

Discussion took place in regard to the dispensation and it was

Dispensation be granted to Councillor H Barrett to speak and vote on matters relating to the New community School to replace Ysgol-y-Graig, Cefn Coed, Merthyr Tydfil
