Members are reminded of their personal responsibility to declare any personal and prejudicial interest in respect of matters contained in this agenda in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government and Finance Act 1992 relating to Council Tax, the Local Government Act 2000, the Council’s Constitution and the Members Code of Conduct

To consider report of the Chief Executive

The Planning Officer introduced the application and outlined the details contained within the report.

The following questions were raised by the committee and responded to in detail by the officers in attendance.

·         Clarity was sought in relation to the current opening times for the adjoining property.

·         Confirmation was sought in relation to amount of time the premises has been empty

·         Clarity was sought in relation to the number of objections received and the number of signatures on the petition

Gurnos Ward Councillor J Davies asked the Planning Officers for confirmation that if the application was to be approved parking will not become an issue.

·         Clarity was sought on the capacity of the seating area outlined in the report

After further comments by the committee the Chair thanked the Officers and Councillors for their attendance and closed the meeting.
