No apologies for absence were received as all Members were present.

Members are reminded of their personal responsibility to declare any personal and prejudicial interest in respect of matters contained in this agenda in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government and Finance Act 1992 relating to Council Tax, the Local Government Act 2000, the Council’s Constitution and the Members Code of Conduct

Note:

(a)  Members are reminded that they must identify the item number and subject matter that their interest relates to and signify the nature of the personal interest and

(b)  Where Members withdraw from a Meeting as a consequence of the disclosure of a prejudicial interest they must notify the Chair when they leave

The Chair advised that there was no other business deemed urgent.

In order for the following to be considered in private, it is suggested that the public be excluded from the Meeting on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph/s 12,13 under Part 4 of Schedule 12A Section 100 (A) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972.

Hackney Carriage Driver Licence (HN)

Resolved that:

The application for a Hackney Carriage Driver Licence in respect of (HN) be granted.

To consider report of the Deputy Chief Executive

Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence (ES)

The Committee considered the application for a Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence as submitted by (ES) in respect of a Vehicle to be licensed as a Hackney Carriage.

Questions were then raised by the Members on the application and were responded to in detail by the applicant.

These submissions are now to be considered at the Planning, Regulatory and Licensing Committee when the application is considered on whether to grant a Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence for the Vehicle discussed at the Committee.
