Apologies for absence were received from Councillor J Davies, Councillor D Isaac, Councillor L Minett Vokes, S Eriksen, H Hopkins, H Jackson and L McClean Co-opted Members.

Members are reminded of their personal responsibility to declare any personal and prejudicial interest in respect of matters contained in this agenda in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government and Finance Act 1992 relating to Council Tax, the Local Government Act 2000, the Council’s Constitution and the Members Code of Conduct

The Chair advised that there was no other business deemed urgent.

In order for the following to be considered in private, it is suggested that the public be excluded from the Meeting on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph/s 13 / 14 under Part 4 of Schedule 12A Section 100 (A) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972.

Resolved that:

To consider report of the Chief Executive

The Chair welcomed Committee Members, Cabinet Members, Co-opted and Lay Members, Guest Councillors and Officers to the Meeting.

Steve Jones then led the Committee in detail through the ‘Revenue Budget 2023/24 and Medium Term Financial Plan Update’ report.

Questions were then raised by the Committee on the report and were responded to in detail by the Cabinet Members and the Officers.

It was then proposed that a further Committee Meeting be convened and this proposal was agreed.

The Chair then thanked everyone for attending.
