The role of this committee is to scrutinise, measure and actively promote improvement in the Council’s performance in the provision of services and compliance with Council policies, aims and objectives in areas to include

- Destination Management Plan;
- Public Protection & Housing;
- Housing Services (Strategic/Housing Solutions/ Homelessness);
- Housing Renewal Area;
- Sports, Leisure & Culture Development / Leisure Trust / Active Lifestyles;
- Disabled Facility Grants;
- Licensing;
- Trading Standards;
- Environmental Health;
- Environmental enforcement (including fly-tipping);
- Home to School / Subsidised Transport;
- Registry Service;
- Community Safety.
